Hi, I’m Laurene—founder of The Mobile Lice Shop, certified head lice expert, twin mom, and your go-to calm in the lice storm!

My journey into the world of lice removal started right at home—after battling head lice twice with my own twins. I saw firsthand how overwhelming (and downright panicky) it can feel for parents. Instead of just surviving it, I turned my experience into a mission to help others. Over the past 10 years, I’ve personally helped thousands of families eliminate head lice and get their kids back to school the very next day—itch-free, stress-free, and smiling again.

I opened and operated The Littlest Lice Shop in West Bridgewater, MA, for 8 years, proudly serving my community. After the pandemic, when the lice industry slowed down and my teenage twins’ lives got busier and busier, I made the difficult decision to close my brick-and-mortar shop in 2023 to focus on family life. But now, with lice making a major comeback, I'm back too—ready to help families once again with expert, mobile services that come straight to your doorstep!

Along the way, I launched Let’s Learn About Lice, a free, science-backed resource for parents, nurses, camps, and schools to fight misinformation and learn the real facts about head lice. I even run a global Facebook community for lice industry professionals and have organized national conferences to help grow and support our field. I also hold two professional lice removal certifications, including training directly from Katie Shepherd through The Shepherd Method™ of Strand-by-Strand Nit and Lice Removal. I’m proud to partner with doctors' offices, camps, schools, child care centers, and community organizations to provide education, prevention tips, and real solutions.
